Gwen Quéant etait venue au foyer, en mars 2011, présenter son projet de trans-canada.

En avril 2012, il a sollicité l’équipe de l’atelier2com (Mathias Boivin Aubel, Mathieu Graindorge et Pierre-Yves Beguigneau) pour la réalisation de son film (photos/vidéos). Trois mois de partenariat ont été nécessaires pour aboutir à 25 mn d’une vidéo retraçant le parcours de Gwen, de Vancouver à Halifax.

Cette réalisation a été une belle rencontre humaine et un partage d’expériences, notamment grâce aux explications de Gwen sur son parcours et aux échanges nécessaires (choix d’images, vidéos, musicale…) pour la finalisation du film.
L’atelier2com a organisé au foyer, le vendredi 16 novembre, une présentation de la vidéo, en présence de Gwen Quéant qui a pu évoquer son aventure et répondre aux questions.

Des articles dans la presse (Ouest-France et Télégramme) ont été réalisés lors de cette projection.

À son ouverture, le Rotary briochin avait soutenu le foyer Ker Spi, en lui offrant un véhicule de transport pour ses résidants. Cet hiver, le club-service est revenu à sa rencontre.

Cette fois, c’est avec la volonté, à nouveau, de soutenir les actions du centre d’accueil pour adultes handicapés, «mais aussi pour mettre en rapport des jeunes en formation avec le monde du handicap, ce qui fait partie de la pédagogie que nous mettons en oeuvre», souligne son président Jean-Yves Thomas. Le Rotary s’est donc rapproché de la section menuiserie du Sacré-Coeur briochin, dont les élèves ont conçu des tables sur mesure, adaptées à l’accès aux personnes en fauteuils roulants, afin d’aménager la nouvelle salle d’activité de 80m². «Dès la rentrée, ils s’occuperont de l’aménagement intérieur des placards», précise le club, qui consacre un total de près de 4.000 € à cette opération.

Vingtième anniversaire le 1er août

Pour Ker Spi, la première livraison tombe à pic. «Nous venons de recevoir l’agrément pour la mise en service des nouveaux bâtiments. Il nous reste à trouver les financements pour aménager la salle de stimulation sensorielle (près de 20.000 €) et l’atelier», explique le directeur Pierre Hérissard. Sera-ce possible avant les célébrations du 20e anniversaire de la structure, le 1eraoût? «Sans doute pas, mais cela ne nous empêchera pas de fêter l’évènement, et en même temps, le 25eanniversaire de notre association IMC 22. »

L’extension est enfin ouverte !

Après quelques rebondissements, la nouvelle extension est accessible.

Nous pouvons profiter d’une grande salle d’activité et d’une salle de relaxation-soin esthétique. L’ouvrier d’entretien dispose également, enfin, d’un vrai atelier.
Les activités Art’Numériques/photos, arts plastiques et musique vont notamment pouvoir utiliser ce lieu mais servira aussi de salle de réunion, projection, etc… !

Il a d’ailleurs accueilli la semaine dernière le Conseil de la Vie Sociale et hier la projection officielle de Retour vers le fauteuil, avec la venue spéciale des élèves et professeur du Lycée Léonard de Vinci et de Philippe Le Coq, d’Artémiss.

L’histoire

Il y a un an, Yannick Labbé passait dix jours à Saint-Cyprien pour tourner un film évoquant les relationsamoureuses des personnes en situation de handicap. Intitulé Négatif, ce film est sélectionné au festival « Entre deux marches » de Cannes programmé du 21 au 25 mai.

Pour faire réfléchir

Pas facile d’évoquer les relationsamoureuses et sexuelles chez les personnes handicapées. Le sujet reste même tabou. Et c’est bien pour susciter la réflexion par le biais de l’humour et de la poésie que Négatif a vu le jour, il y a quelques mois. Écrit par Philippe Le Coq, ce film est littéralement porté par Yannick Labbé, handicapé moteur cérébral résidant au foyer Ker-Spi. « Dans certains foyers, les résidants n’ont pas le droit de se faire un baiser, même pas de se tenir la main », déplore Yannick Labbé qui a mis tout son coeur dans sa composition pour apporter sa vision des choses avec son photomaton ambulant. Le résultat : un court-métrage fort d’une quinzaine de minutes.

Les exigences du métiers

Jouer la comédie au théâtre ou devant une caméra est devenu comme une seconde nature pour Yannick Labbé qui a débuté cette activité en 2004 avec une première pièce de théâtre. « On oublie le fauteuil roulant et les gens nous voient autrement », se réjouit l’acteur qui se prête volontiers au jeu et répond aux exigences du métier. « Un jour sur un tournage, j’ai joué jusqu’à 22 heures. C’était bien », se souvient Yannick qui a déjà joué dans deux pièces de théâtre et deux courts-métrages.

Reconnu en ville

Et à force, il commence à être reconnu. « L’autre jour, je me promenais dans Plérin. Une personne arrivant avec un sourire jusqu’aux oreilles, est venue discuter avec moi. Il m’a demandé si c’était bien moi qui avait fait un film. » Un échange qui évoque un seul commentaire à l’un de ses accompagnateurs Denis Messager, aide médico-psychologique au foyer Ker-Spi. « Avec ce comportement, Yannick redevient une personne avant d’être handicapé. »

Invité à Cannes

Avec Denis Messager, Yannick sera donc présent à Cannes. Une satisfaction pour lui. Un mystère aussi. « J’aimerais bien leur demander pourquoi ils ont choisi mon film », se demande-t-il encore comme s’il peinait à y croire. Mais le rêve sera bien réalité. « Être présent à Cannes, c’est un aboutissement pour nous », se réjouit Denis Messager.

« Deux loosers ont décidé de s’introduire dans une résidence qui accueille des personnes en situation de handicap. Leur but ? Se faire passer pour de grands professionnels et… »

La réalisation de ce film à d’abord été une immense aventure humaine entre des personnes en situation de handicap, des comédiens, des étudiants en BTS audiovisuel.
Des humains qu se sont rencontrés et qui ont partagé cette création. Un moment formidable qui n’est pas racontable en quelques mots, il faut le vire.

Le foyer de Ker Spi accueille, depuis dimanche, le tournage d’un court-métrage intitulé «Retour vers le fauteuil (comédie à roulettes, ou pas)». Un grand moment dans la vie du lieu d’accueil médicalisé.

«On souhaite que les résidants puissent sortir hors du foyer autant qu’ils le veulent… mais l’extérieur a aussi tout intérêt à venir visiter l’intérieur», assène Pierre Hérissard, directeur du foyer d’accueil médicalisé de KerSpi, à Plérin. Un précepte qu’ont suivi six étudiants du lycée Léonard-de Vinci de Montaigu (85), venus réaliser leur projet de fin d’étude: un court-métrage d’une quinzaine de minutes qui sera présenté en avril au jury de leur BTS audiovisuel. «Ils ont 20-21 ans et n’ont pas forcément été confrontés au handicap dans leur vie auparavant. Si leur arrivée, samedi, s’est faite sur la pointe des pieds, il y a aujourd’hui une vraie complicité avec les personnes en situation de handicap», se félicite de son côté Patrice Gablin, professeur au sein de l’établissement scolaire. «Tant qu’à devoir composer avec les contraintes d’examen, autant faire en sorte que le film puisse servir», ajoute-t-il.

Plus qu’un effet «Intouchables»

Évidemment, le tournage d’un film traitant du handicap évoque le récent succès d’«Intouchables». À la différence que le metteur en scène, Philippe Le Coq, n’en est pas à son coup d’essai. Au sein de la compagnie Artémiss de Port-Saint-Martin (44), dont il est aussi le directeur artistique, le natif de Saint-Brieuc a déjà réalisé de nombreux projets avec des personnes en situation de handicap. Et ce depuis de nombreuses années. Yannick Labbé, résidant du foyer de Ker Spi, a d’ailleurs été mis à l’honneur dans un précédent court-métrage: «Négatif». «Il y a 20 ans, dès qu’on voyait une personne en fauteuil roulant, on ne la regardait pas, on ne voyait que le fauteuil», soutient-il. Pour Pierre Hérissard, «le regard des gens a commencé à changer bien avant « Intouchables », mais le film a permis de libérer la parole».

Des relations «fortes mais normales»

«Après quelques jours de tournage, il se passe quelque chose d’à la fois extrêmement fort, mais finalement de très normal: les étudiants parviennent à voir au-delà du fauteuil et découvrent des personnes. Ça peut même être assez touchant. Hier, en fin de journée par exemple, Mathias, un des résidants qui n’a pas l’usage de la communication verbale, voyait bien que le cadreur peinait avec ses 25kg de matériel à l’épaule. Il a pris sa tablette d’écriture pour lui dire: « Je vois bien que tu souffres. Je souffre avec toi »», conclut Patrice Gablin.
